As I continue into Week 2 of my 30-day challenge, I find myself reflecting on a powerful blueprint that has shaped my journey as an entrepreneur and leader. This blueprint is made up of three essential components: accepting, renewing, and growing. Each element is crucial for my personal development and professional success.

In this post, I want to share how embracing these principles can lead to a more fulfilling life and career, and how they can elevate your leadership skills. Let’s explore what it means to accept, renew, and grow, and how these concepts are connected to our faith and purpose.

Accepting: Clarity in Identity

The first step in my blueprint is acceptance. Accepting God for who He says He is brings clarity to my identity. It’s about understanding who I am and whose I am. When I fully embrace my faith, I gain a clearer perspective on my purpose and my unique gifts.

Scripture Reference:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

This verse reminds me that acceptance is not just about acknowledging God’s existence but also trusting His plans for my life. When I accept this truth, I can step into my role as a leader with confidence. In fact, a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center found that 78% of people who identify with a faith feel higher levels of purpose in their lives.

Research shows that having a strong sense of identity and purpose can lead to greater career success. According to the Harvard Business Review, employees who feel a sense of purpose are three times more likely to be engaged in their work. This engagement often translates into a 23% increase in productivity and job satisfaction.

Renewing: Transforming Your Mindset

The second component of my blueprint is renewing. This means actively changing my perspective and mindset. It’s about moving from a “lizard brain” mentality—filled with fear and self-doubt—to a belief that I can achieve everything God has planned for me.

Scripture Reference:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” - Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Renewing my mind is an ongoing journey. It requires challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with affirmations of faith and possibility. For example, setting aside 15 minutes each day for mindfulness or prayer can alter my mindset and improve how I approach challenges. Studies indicate that engaging in personal development activities increases job satisfaction by 50% and can boost chances for career advancement.

A consistent commitment to renewing my mind has empowered me to lead more effectively and creatively.

Growing: Cultivating Your Gifts

The final part of my blueprint is growing. This is where real progress occurs. Growth involves nurturing my gifts, deepening my relationship with God, and striving for continuous improvement. It’s a commitment to lifelong learning.

Scripture Reference:

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

As I grow, I not only enhance my skills but also become a more effective leader. For instance, taking online courses or attending workshops can sharpen skills and broaden my perspective. A study by the Center for Creative Leadership found that leaders who focus on personal growth are 70% more likely to be effective in their positions. This reinforces how important ongoing growth is for achieving success in leadership.

The Ongoing Process of "Ing"

It’s essential to recognize that the “ing” in accepting, renewing, and growing signifies an ongoing process. This journey is not a one-time event but a continuous cycle of improvement in our leadership.

As women entrepreneurs and leaders, we must embrace this process. Being open to change and committed to our growth is vital. The more we invest in ourselves, the more impact we can have on those around us.

Your Path to Transformation

Embracing my blueprint of accepting, renewing, and growing has been life changing. It has provided clarity, a renewed mindset, and a commitment to lifelong growth. As I continue on this journey, I invite you to explore these principles in your own life.

Remember, personal development is not just about skill enhancement; it’s about aligning your faith with your purpose. By accepting who you are, renewing your mind, and growing your gifts, you can elevate your leadership and achieve the success you desire.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can explore how these principles can be applied to your unique situation, leading to greater fulfillment and success.
